After Oneplus Nord CE 5G which is going to be launched on June 10, Oneplus have plans to launch Oneplus Nord 2 in July 2021, which is also a 5G smartphone. The Oneplus Nord was launched in July 2020 and after exactly a year Oneplus may launch its true successor Oneplus Nord 2.
Oneplus Nord CE 5G will be a stripped-down version of Oneplus Nord and will reportedly come at less price than that of Nord. The CE in smartphone stands for "Core Edition". The Oneplus Nord CE comes with Snapdragon 750 SoC and the Nord comes with a better Snapdragon 765G chipset.
Now comes the Nord 2, the smartphone will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 1200. The phone will have a Triple Rear Camera setup. The Rear cameras include a 50-megapixel primary camera, 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front, it has a 32MP front camera. The smartphone will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone carries a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The screen comes with a punch-hole design and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is backed up by a 4500 mAh battery that supports 30Walt fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
Oneplus Nord 2 will have two variants. First comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and the second comes with 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.
