ZTE Axon 30 launched in China: Under-display Camera, Snapdragon 870


ZTE launched its Axon 30 in China today. The main highlight of the smartphone is the new generation under-display camera. So there is nothing on the screen of the phone, its just plain.

ZTE Axon 30 is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC. It features a 6.92-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate 10-bit P3 colour gamut and 400 PPI. At the back, there is a quad camera setup comprising of Sony IMX682 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP and a 2MP camera. At the front, there is a 16MP camera in under-display of phone. It is backed up by 4,200mAh battery and 55W fast charging QC 4+PD. It runs Android 11-based MyOS 11. To keep the heat of phone in check, there is vapour chamber liquid cooler. It has a 7.8mm thickness and weighs 190g. It also have NFC, UFS 3.1 storage, in-display fingerprint sensor. There will be a total RAM of 20GB in top variant (12GB + 8GB expandable/virtual RAM).

ZTE Axon 30 is supported with four 5G bands: N28, N41, N78 and N79.

ZTE Axon 30 is available in four configurations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. All the four variants are priced in China at CNY 2198 (approx Rs.25,161), CNY 2498 (approx Rs.28,587), CNY 2798 (approx Rs.32,019), CNY 2998 (approx Rs.34,307) respectively.
