Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 received FCC certification today revealing some of the key specifications of Xiaomi's upcoming Mi Pad 5. Xiaomi Tablet bears the model name 21051182G. Previously, it was reported that Mi Pad 5 will come with Snapdragon 870 instead of a Snapdragon 888. The reason is that it is cheap in price but provides performance like a high-end processor. The chip can balance heat and consumption. But that's not the story at all.
Mi Pad 5 may come in three variants rather than only a one variant. It can get a Pro version, a vanilla version and a lite variant. Mi Pad 5 Pro will be a flagship model; Mi Pad 5 Vanilla Version will in mid-range category; Mi Pad Lite will be low-end version and cheaper than others.

Mi Pad 5 will be powered by Snapdragon 860 Snapdragon 870 can be used for Pro variant of Mi Tablet 5 series. It will have a 10.95-inch display with 2K+120Hz refresh rate full screen with no openings. It will have a 12MP primary camera and a 22.5W fast charging support. It will run MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Lite can be powered by Snapdragon 768G chipset.
According to a report, the display of Mi Pad 5 can use a ultra-high-quality LCD panel with a 2560x1600 resolution. With a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 4096-level touch support and In-Cell active pen technology.
Mi Pad 5 can cost less than CNY 1999 ($309) (Rs.23,065). Xiaomi can be particularly targeting school/college students for their study.
