Realme GT 5G launched in globally with Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120Hz Amoled display, 64MP triple rear camera

 Realme GT has been launched in Europe three months after the smartphone's debut in China. The launch event was held virtually and the company announced the price of the phone along with specifications and availability of the phone in European markets. The specifications of the phone are similar to China's variant which means you get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 64MP triple rear camera, 120Hz Amoled display, and 65W fast charging. Along with the launch of the phone, the company also announced the Realme Pad Tablet and Realme Book Laptop.

Price and availability details of Realme GT 5G

Realme GT 5G costs EUR 449 (approx. Rs.39,940) for the base variant in Europe, which has 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant of Realme GT 5G costs EUR 599 (approximately Rs.53,242) in Europe. The company announced an Early Bird Offer Price of EUR 369 (approx. Rs.32,800) for the base variant, which will be available between 21-25 June. The phone will be available in selected Countries including Spain, Poland, Russia, Thailand, and more. The phone will go on sale on 21st June from multiple retailers including AliExpress and Amazon.


 Realme GT 5G Specifications


Realme GT 5G comes with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display. It has a full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sample rate, a great specification for gamers. The screen has a punch-hole mounted selfie camera on the top-left corner the screen. It has dual light sensors (probably for adjusting screen brightness), and 4096 levels of auto-brightness. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone has Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo Speakers.

The Realme GT 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Soc, the top chipset from Qualcomm to date. The phone has a stainless cooling system to keep the temperature of the phone in check. It is based on Android 11 OS and Realme UI 2.0 customization. It has two variants, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.


The phone has Sony triple rear camera setup, a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP Ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. The primary camera can record 4k videos at 60fps (frames per second) whereas the front camera is limited to 1080 recording at 30fps (frames per second).

The phone has a 4,500 mAh battery backup which supports 65W SuperDart charging, which means it takes 35 minutes to be fully charged to 100%. You also get two SIM card slots, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v.52, Dual-band GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone comes in three colors: Dashing Silver, Dashing Blue, and Racing Yellow. The Racing Yellow variant has an 'Ultra-Fine-Grain leather 2.0' which is water-resistant.

The phone is expected to be launched in India at the end of this month or the next month.
