POCO F3 GT existence in India has been confirmed through a couple of teasers by the company. But the launch date and specs are still not revealed officially. It launched in China on 27 April this year. The specs of the phone will be similar to the Chinese variant of the phone. The company teaser revealed that it will launch in Q3 in India. The phone also recently received a BIS certification.
91mobiles in association with tipster Yogesh has learned that POCO F3 GT will launch in India in early August. They are informed that it will show up in the first ten days of August In India. So, it only a month ahead of its launch.
POCO F3 GT is a rebranded version of Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition which was launched in China. So, the specs of the POCO F3 GT will be similar to K40 Gaming Edition.
POCO F3 GT SPECIFICATIONS (EXPECTED)
POCO F3 GT will be powered by the flagship Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, HD10+, 500 nits brightness, 480Hz touch sampling rate. It has LiquidCool technology which cools down the phone when it gets heated too much. It will have a triple camera setup, comprising of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP tele macro sensor. At the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter. It will have a punch-hole cutout for housing the front camera. It will be backed up by a 5,065mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The phone can be charged to 100% in just 42 minutes. It will run Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. The phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security reasons. Connectivity includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C for charging. We don't know whether it will have a headphone jack as it is missing in K40 Gaming Edition. It will have five configurations, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, 12GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, and the last one 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card. It will have dual Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.
It will be available in three colors options, Black, White and Silver.
POCO F3 GT Price In India (Expected)
The price of Redmi K40 Gaming Edition Edition in China is CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs.23,087) for 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant, CNY 2,199 (approx. Rs.25,395) for 8GB RAM and 128GB variant, and CNY 2,699 (approx. Rs.31,169) for the top model which is 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
